Transaction Solidifies Leadership in Rapidly Expanding K–12 Digital Curriculum Marketplace
Enhanced Commitment to Transform Education by Harnessing the Power of Data Driven Learning
New York, February 5, 2019 – Weld North Education (“WNE”), a leading pre-K–12 digital curriculum company focused on unlocking the power of technology for learning, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Glynlyon, Inc., a portfolio company of Linsalata Capital Partners. Glynlyon is a world-class digital curriculum company serving more than 1 million students in the institutional and consumer education markets. Glynlyon operates two highly valued brands: Odysseyware, which serves the K–12 schools across the United States with innovative online learning solutions, and AOP, an award-winning leading homeschool curriculum provider. Glynlyon, and its businesses, will join Weld North Education’s portfolio of existing digital education companies, Edgenuity and Imagine Learning. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019 subject to regulatory approval.
