Waseem Alam

Waseem joined Weld North’s investment team in 2015. Prior to joining, he worked at EdisonLearning, a K-12 education services and technology company. In this role, he focused on corporate strategy, operations, business development and strategic initiatives. He worked to expand the company internationally and to develop a network of new blended learning dropout recovery schools. Waseem started his career as an associate at PwC’s consulting practice working on a wide range of engagements advising Fortune 100 companies. Waseem graduated with a B.S. in Management from Binghamton University in 2009 and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 2015.
