Chris is a business lawyer with over 20 years of corporate and transactional experience.  Before joining Weld North, he was a partner at Verrill, a leading Northeast regional law firm, where he was Chair of Verrill’s Corporate and Business Law Group.  At Verrill, Chris advised private equity funds and their portfolio companies, including Weld North, on mergers and acquisitions and the legal aspects of their businesses.  He also served for 5 years as General Counsel of a publicly-traded technology company where he managed the company’s legal function.

 

Chris is also involved with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center where he has worked on the pro bono representation of veterans. Chris holds a B.S. in finance from Lehigh University and a law degree with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
