In the last 20 years, the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association’s annual event has become the place to get noticed by Washington-area venture capitalists who listen to 8-minute pitches from companies looking for capital.
Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, will headline the event as a keynote speaker. Joining him is an eclectic group of speakers that includes Tucker Carlson, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the DailyCaller.com, Paul DePodesta, the vice president of player development for the New York Mets and Jonathan Grayer, chairman and CEO of investment company Weld North LLC.
